Bell earned the Order of St. Michael and St. George, the Distinguished Service Order, the British South Africa Company Medal, the Queen of South Africa medal, the King of South Africa medal, the 1914 to 1915 Star, the British War Medal, the Victory Medal, and the Croix de Guerre.

The Military Museums (TMM) is a Canadian Forces tri-service history, heritage, research, and educational institution. TMM is composed of the following organizations:
- Naval Museum of Alberta
- Army Museum of Alberta
- Air Force Museum of Alberta
- Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Museum
- Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Museum and Archives
- The King's Own Calgary Regiment (Royal Canadian Armoured Corps) Museum
- The Calgary Highlanders Regimental Museum and Archives
- The University of Calgary Military Museums Library and Archives
To enrich your experience, TMM also contains:
- The Founders' Gallery: an art and heritage exhibit space featuring special exhibits on topical subjects.
- A Discovery Centre: a computerized ethical decision maze to support learning through technology.
- An Education Centre capable of accommodating 66 students and outfitted with modern SMART technology.
- An Archival Reading Room where you can use the archival materials held at TMM for research.
